About The Gerben Foundation

Lymphoma occurs about 2 to 5 times as frequently in dogs as in people, and it is estimated that approximately 1 of every 15 dogs born today will get the disease at some point in his or her life, most likely during late adulthood.

Our mission at the Gerben Foundation is to defeat canine lymphoma. We advocate improved breeding practices to reduce the incidence of canine lymphoma, and we provide financial support for research to develop new treatments and to find a cure.
